Our September gathering was so much fun, especially for the dogs that had 2 hours of pure joy and delight running, playing, swimming and socialising with their littermates and extended argentcymru family. My best friend Karen O'Keefe as usual perfectly captures the joie de vivre, the energy and the soul of this beautiful breed. Looking forward to September next year when we will gather together again.    What a wonderful time we had at Goodwood House in the company of 10 stunning standard poodles and of course the Duke of Richmond. The photoshoot is to promote the upcoming 2 day celebration of dogs at Goodwood and this year is the year of the Poodle. We shall be there at the parade on Sat 20th and very much looking forward to it. Please visit the Goodwood Website to order tickets and come and enjoy the celebration with us all. www.goodwood.com/goodwoof Hello 2023 This year we are looking forward to showing Bruno who enjoyed his first show in Yeovil at the end of December. We didn't place but an enjoyable day was had by all and where we met up with our friend and her silver standard Peggy. It also meant that my friend Karen was able to take some of her magical photos and here is one below. I prepared and groomed Bruno myself and considering we have only been growing his coat since the Summer i think we did well all in all. The maintenance of a coat that is gowing through the coat change is very challenging to say the least. I must say that those clippers have nearly been brought out to clip the coat off on more than one occasion, so we will try to preserve and enter some more competitions and see where that takes us. As long as Bruno and I enjoy it we will keep going.  we are also awaiting Brunos hip and elbow scores from the BVA.
This month we welcomed into the world lara and lucias puppies. Lara gave birth to 10 puppies, 5 male and 5 female in varying shades of red to cream. Lucia welcomed 6 puppies, 4 girls and 2 boys. Red and apricot parti, solid red and an apricot girl. Both mums are doing great and puppies are thriving. lara puppy at 2 1/2 weeks of age Lucia puppies at 8 days old |
