after a very hard and stressful time with the girls in season, i decided to castrate samson and arnie.
in all 5 years of living with girls and boys together, i have never encountered such a turbulent time of male testosterone. it gave me no other option than to castrate samson who became very dominant and aggressive towards the other boys and bullied blucher.
as you are aware, i do not keep my dogs solely for breeding. First and foremost they are my family and we do not rehome, unlike some other breeders. Hence why i sought to castrate samson in the hope that this will cam him down.
Arnie was castrated as he doesnt do well with being love sick and we had hoped that his sperm would return, but have finally given up the ghost of that ever happening and he too was sent with sam for his castration.

Anyway. im glad to say that the ops went well and both are enjoying being back out on their walks again.
